Draping is when you hang or rest cloth on the body letting the cloth fall and make loose folds. Great designs are often created from the natural fall of a fabric. Draping is mainly used in the making of gowns and dresses.
Elie Saab is one designer who famously uses draping through the making of many of her gowns.
