From the photo above I created this swatch. I got some wadding and drew the design on it with glue. When the glue was almost dry I painted over it with inks and came up with this pattern design.
Using the photo above I created these two swatches. The first swatch I layered two pieces of pleated swatches on top of eachother. I did this to mimic how the gates overlap eachother. With the second swatch I painted the design of the gate onto fabric using bleech as my medium.
